The Mariachi Sun Foundation supports higher educational
opportunities by granting an Allegro Scholarship to all graduating
high school students enrolling into college or other post secondary
education institute. A “Pasion” (Frances Bernal Memorial)
scholarship is given to an honored high school graduate who
demonstrated leadership and passion while attending the
Mariachi Sun Foundation programs.

Scholarship Opportunities

The Mariachi Sun Foundation offers grants to all eligible and qualifying MSF member students graduating from high school and who will continue their education to a post secondary institute. *Scholarship amounts vary.

The Mariachi Sun Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization serving music and scholarship opportunities for youth in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Our mission is to preserve the arte, pasión y tradición of Mariachi music AND promote higher education for all children.

Mariachi music is the center for all things traditional in the Mexican culture and thrives within the lives and families of the Central San Joaquin Valley of California. Founders of the Mariachi Sun Foundation are Director Jesus Guzman and Juan Jimenez from Grammy award winning Mariachi Los Camperos.

Carmen Dias is the Executive Director who is also a mariachi musician and music teacher in Arvin, California. Together this trio has given generously of their time and talent to create artistic and academic opportunities for all youth.
